My sister and I will be arriving Sat Jan 20th at 8pm. I figure by the time we get through customs and get to our hotel (Radio City Apartments 142 West 49th Street) it will be close to 10pm. Any recommendations of fast and easy food close by? We like asian, italian, french, american, deli. We don%26#39;t mind walking, but my sis get grumpy when she%26#39;s hungry so I know she%26#39;ll want something fast after we check in.
Any recommendations?

Bistro 60, on 60th Street a little east of Madison Avenue, serves until 11 PM. If you do not want to walk the not-quite-one-mile, you could take the N or R train from 49th and Seventh to Fifth Avenue and 60th Street -- a very quick ride. They are a nice, traditional bistro, and I think you would find it a quiet and relaxing place to eat after you get in.
Here is their site; you can check the menu and see if it interests you:

There%26#39;s likely over 300 restaurants within 5 blocks of your hotel. I%26#39;d venture to say that 75% of them are open past 1AM....
especially on a Saturday night.
Can you give me a better indication on your budget and just how ';fast and easy'; you really mean? Are you OK with relative fast food or would you like to sit down for an hour and enjoy a serious meal?
I%26#39;ll give you one blind but excellent and fun suggestion....

They really “bring it on” at these Brazilian beef “bacchanals” where, after loading up at a huge salad bar, you’re faced with an “endless parade” of “roaming waiters” slicing and serving “all-you-can-eat” skewered meats; a roomful of “high-energy” carnivores bent on a “food orgy” ensures a “lively” experience.
Food is extraordinary and it%26#39;s all you can keep down!
Thanks for the quick replies!
Not fast food, but we aren%26#39;t looking for a 2.5 - 3 hr sit down meal. Just somewhere you can order and not wait an hour for your food to arrive (she gets really grumpy!).
Looking to spend approx $20 - $25 per person before beverages.
ummm, just wanted to point out your hotel is in midtown WEST. Roberto Passon, Vice Versa and Maria Pia are all good Italians not far BUT at that hour, they and many of the other popular places in the area will be getting the after theater crowd, esp. on a Sat. night. So I%26#39;d suggest a rezzie. You won%26#39;t have a problem finding places that serve late in that area.
