Brunch

I hear sunday brunch is a big this in new york. What are some suggestions of good places to go. Do they require reservations? Thanks,

Brunch

When I was there in June of 2005, we had brunch at Balthazar. The food was delicious, and it was packed at 10:30am! We didn%26#39;t have to wait for our table though (I made a reservation a month before going, and they called the day before to confirm), and we never felt rushed the whole time we were there. Celebrities are often spotted there, apparently...but we never saw any :(

I love the food at Balthazar. Advance reservation is a must.

Had brunch a few weeks ago at Cibo. Quite good. Two courses and a Mimosa or Bloody Mary for $18.95. For more info on that visit cibonyc.com.

This Sunday we have brunch reservations for the New Leaf Cafe, which is part of Bette Midler%26#39;s Restoration Project. The restaurant is up around 190th street. Afterwards we are visiting the Cloisters for the first time. This is a chance for us to see a part of the city we have not yet explored.

Near the theatre district, on 9th Avenue @j47th Street is Pietrasanta. They have a wonderful Sunday brunch and the price is right as well. And, yes, make a reservation, can%26#39;t hurt.

If you are going to be in Tribeca - try Landmarc on West Broadway at Franklin. You don%26#39;t need reservations. The food is great and the prices reasonable.

Thanks for the info. They all sound yummy.
