Manhattan Area Restaurants?

Hi,

My husband is coming into the city tonight to meet me for some dinner and I wanted to find a nice restaurant for us to go too. If you have any good recs for some Italian ones or American type of places(where we can get little of everything) that woudl be great!

Manhattan Area Restaurants?

In the column to the left of this area, under the heading New York City, is a section on NYC Restaurants, have you checked it out?

Also a sticky by culinary denizen Voyageruse, lists many choices.

As for a recommendation I would say CIBO, 42nd St and 2nd Avenue, italian, American a bit of everything-their website www.cibonyc.com.

Cibo%26#39;s nice... I was just looking at opentable.com to see what%26#39;s available tonight and there is a lot to choose from, so you can go on that site right now and make a reservation (it%26#39;s free)...

So many things hard to narrow down...there is A Voce, Abboccato, Bar Americain, Gotham Bar and Grill, Lever House...even Bouley has some available times...

I%26#39;d add to the list Eleven Madison Park on, where else, Madison Park. Union Square Cafe is also excellent. Moms
