Traveling by Amtrak from DC to NYC. We have reservations in mid-Feb at The Belvedere. Visiting American Girl with our tweens. I%26#39;m hopeful that we made a good a choice in our hotel and that it is close to American Girl. Any other suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
The Belvedere - A Good Choice?
I%26#39;ve never seen the guest rooms, but the Belvedere gets consistently good reviews for a budget hotel. It%26#39;s about 3-4 blocks from American Girl. They%26#39;re long blocks, but shouldn%26#39;t take more than 10-15 minutes. If the weather%26#39;s bad, there%26#39;s a bus that runs east along 50th Street, and returns west on 49th Street.
The Belvedere - A Good Choice?
Myself and 3 friends stayed at the Belvedere in November 05. It was perfect; clean, very central to all the sights, reasonable prices, great staff. Liked it so much, the 3 of us are staying there again this year (Thanksgiving time).
My mother, daughter and I are staying there once again this weekend. We have been happy there before. The room is just fine and the location is perfect for us. I think you would be happy.
