Ok, so we have been looking at this hotel for a few days...kinda put it on the back burner due to the construction that is going on. On expedia.com it says they plan for construction to be done by the end of March...we aren%26#39;t going until April 14-15. Has anyone stayed here during the construction, and was it a problem? They say they are doing it one floor at a time, so I wouldn%26#39;t think it would be a huge bother unless you were around THAT floor.
Is this a decent hotel? We don%26#39;t plan to spend much time in the hotel at all...just to sleep for the night, for the most part. But we want a nice hotel...kinda luxury, but it doesn%26#39;t have to be too much. I am a stay at home mom, and my husband is a truck driver...we want a place that is going to make us feel like a king and queen on a budget, lol. A nice place to get away from the kids and the stress of everyday life! :) Thanks to any who reply!
Warwick Hotel in NY??It%26#39;s a very nice hotel with an interesting history. William Randolph Hearst built it for his mistress. ;)

I also think the Blakely is worth checking out. It%26#39;s smaller and doesn%26#39;t really have the glamorous lobby, but the rooms are probably nicer. Just depends where you want the luxury, in the public space or your own room.
Warwick Hotel in NY??Thanks NYWhiz...you have been very helpful! I remember looking at the blakely, can%26#39;t remember why I stopped, lol. I%26#39;ll check it out again...thanks!
