We are planning on heading to the WTC site then on to Brooklyn for lunch this weekend. Does anyone know if the subway construction scheduled for lower Manhattan will impact travel to Brooklyn from WTC? I have been on the metro website and find the explanations incredibly confusing. I normally find the subway easy to navigate but am traveling with a large group this weekend and don%26#39;t want to have to try to figure it out with all of those staring eyes! Thanks, Moms
Subway interruptions in Lower Manhattan this weekend
it looks like there will be no construction on the 4, 5, 2, and 3 lines - so you should be ok.
Subway interruptions in Lower Manhattan this weekend
Thanks weezie! Glad to hear it! Moms
This website is updated every Friday, it is the MTA%26#39;s listing of weekend service changes, it is extremely helpful.

There is frequently scheduled maintenance during the weekends on NYC%26#39;s subway system. Not knowing exactly what your plans are, I can tell that there is no scheduled interruption of the #%26#39;s 2 and 3 trains to downtown Manhattan and Brooklyn this weekend.
I can also tell you that there is no ';C'; train service this weekend and that the ';A'; train is not stopping at Spring, 23rd, or 50th St%26#39;s on the Uptown side.
The ';F'; train is running on the ';A'; line from West 4th in Manhattan to Jay Street in Brooklyn.
Hope this helps.
Thanks so much. All of the info is extremely helpful! Moms
