Novotel or Affinia 50?

Ok, so we can save about $80 going to the affinia....but the Novetel is right in the middle of where we want to be! Would it be hard to get a taxi from the affinia to times square/carnegie hall/central park? We also have tickets to see Wicked at 8...so we%26#39;d have to get a taxi back to the affinia, where novotel is only a block away. My husband says it%26#39;s up to me...so which should i choose? HELP!! Also, still considering the Warwick, lol. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciate...I plan to book either tonight or tomorrow morning. Thanks!

Novotel or Affinia 50?

The Affinia has the bonus of a kitchenette, so it%26#39;s more like an apartment than the Novotel, which is a regular hotel, so you%26#39;d have to eat all your meals out.

If you%26#39;re coming out of Wicked (or any Broadway show), you will not get a taxi. All the shows let out at the same time, and the competition for the few cabs is fierce! But there%26#39;s a handy bus right across the street that runs east along 50th Street and stops right across the street from the Affinia. It%26#39;s really easy. You can also stroll across, it%26#39;ll take 10-15 minutes.

So, my suggestion is that if you%26#39;re saving $80 for the whole stay, go with your heart and the Novotel. If it%26#39;s $80 a night, go for the Affinia.

Novotel or Affinia 50?

I don%26#39;t know about Carnegie Hall, but you can walk from the Affinia 50 to Times Square and Central Park. It only takes about 10-15 minutes, so I wouldn%26#39;t bother with a taxi.
