My upcoming trip might be moved to this weekend, February 16-19. It is the weekend before most public schools have their February vacation. Will this really affect any of the attractions/events/etc. that occur? Translation: will hotels, restaurants, ticketed events be more likely to be busy and/or sold-out? Is NYC really affected by high-schoolers? I am thinking not-so-much, but my BF thinks otherwise. Thoughts?

I wouldn%26#39;t think we%26#39;re affected, say the way Florida would be. But you might better check travel web sites to see how the hotel rates and availabilities look. Ditto theater and concert tickets.
