Share a cab to JFK Friday, Jan 12th approx 4pm?

Hi there,

Is there anyone going from Manhattan who wants to share a cab going to JFK this Friday? My flight goes to LA at 7pm, so I think I need to leave the office around 4pm or slightly later. I work around Herald Square. Please respond if you want to share. Thanks!

This is arguably the worst possible time to try and get a taxi. It%26#39;s at change of shift time, so most taxis won%26#39;t be picking up passengers. Coupled with that, it is Friday afternoon before a 3-day weekend, so traffic will be at a standstill out to Long Island. You would have better luck getting a car service pick-up. Probably the quickest way (if you don%26#39;t have a lot of luggage) would be to take the A train (Far Rockaway branch) to Howard Beach and thn switch to the Air Train to go to JFK.

My flight is earlier and I work closer to Grand Central. Why don%26#39;t you just hop on the LIRR to Jamaica and the JFK AirTrain.

I take the 7 train to the E train to the JFK AirTrain, its SO easy.

I%26#39;ve challenged colleagues, we leave around the same time for the same flight, I take the AirTrain, they take the sedan transfer, I usually get there first. Friday evening on the Van Wyck is like living in H-E-!-!*
