Broadway shows

I am going to be in New York Feb. 3-Feb 8. Should I buy tickets online for a show or go to the ticket outlet there? I am staying at the Ameritania, any good restaurants near there?

Depends what show, some are readily available, some like Wicked %26amp; Jersey Boys (especially this one) are more difficult.

For theater tix, it depends on how fussy you are about what show(s) you see and how many are in your party. The most popular shows will be sold out if you wait til you arrive (and may already not be available).

There are lots of good rest. near your hotel. Trattoria Dell ';Arte and Redeye Grill are both on 7th ave. %26amp; 56-57 st. so very close (Italian %26amp; seafood). Angelo%26#39;s pizzeria is a block away and very good. On 9th ave. there are lots of good ethnic places. Roberto Passon is an Italian that%26#39;s not far that%26#39;s very popular. Vice Versa and Maria Pia are also Italians that are good and close. Go to menupages.com and have a look under west 50s.

I am would like to see The Color Purple. There will be only two of us. We are pretty open for any show. Any suggestions? I would like to go to a nice restaurant one night. I like seafood, Italian and steak.
