Which play to choose

I have just about wrapped up the itinerary for a theater weekend in March. So far, my husband and I will be seeing Jersey Boys, A Chorus Line, and Curtains. I would like to throw a play into the mix and have narrowed it down to ';Inherit the Wind'; and ';Prelude to a Kiss';. Any thoughts from anyone on which to choose?

Which play to choose

Prelude to a Kiss is a comedy/drama, and Inherit the Wind is strictly drama, so which do you prefer?

Which play to choose

What about Vanessa Redgrave%26#39;s new play, ';The Year of Magical Thinking'; at the Booth theatre, directed by David Hare. Previews begin March 6th. Visit Broadwayoffers.com use code YMDMX23 for savings on seats ($55-$65, usually $96). I just got the flyer in the mail for this, wish i could go!

the best new show in NYC is Spring Awakening!! amazing show and amazing music. www.springawakening.com

Spring Awankening is a great...musical. You want a play.

How about Little Dog Laughed. If it is still going to be around, it was very funny and the female leads are sure to keep you husband happy!

Thank you all for your responses. bpnyc, I was looking for a play since we already have 3 musicals. Maybe we can catch Spring Awakening on our next trip. TPXB, Little Dog Laughed closes next month. Too bad, it does look great. I think I am leaning toward Prelude, but I love Brian Dennehy and Christopher Plummer. I guess it will come down to where I can get the best seats. Thanks again.

I saw Prelude to a Kiss years ago and I think it%26#39;s been a movie. I don%26#39;t love the premise. I%26#39;d go for Frank%26#39;s Home (about Frank Lloyd Wright) or Merchant of Venice with F. Murray Abraham if it%26#39;s on while you%26#39;re here.
