Tribeca Film Festival

Hi there!

We are visiting NY on 24th April and I understand the Film Festival starts on 25th April? Just wondered if anyone could answer a few questions...

Can you buy tickets to the screenings?

I know where Tribeca is in Manhattan but are all the films likely to be in that area only?

Are there celebs wandering around during this time?

Not to hassle them obviously but it makes the trip more interesting when you spot someone!!

I have looked at the Film Festival website but it didn`t really help much and a lot of the info was for 2006.

They expanded the screening this past year more uptown.

Might see some.

I would just bookmark the web site and check back in a month or so. I think you can also sign up to be alerted when more infgormation is released.

You can buy tickets to the screenings. The site will probably have more info about that when it gets closer to the festival, but I would keep checking because the popular films sell out fast.

Its usually in several different theaters in Tribeca. There are also live music events, street fairs, street fairs for kids, etc that are part of the festival.

I would think the celebs would be at whichever of their films are opening at the festival. Other than that, hit or miss... You%26#39;re probably better off haunting the places celebs have been spotted on gawker.com
