Comedy Clubs?

I am visiting New York from Thursday 1st Feb to Monday 5th Feb and thought it might be fun to go to a comedy club.

Can anyone make a recommendation of a good one to go to?

Anything else going on that weekend that you think i should know about? I have visited New York a few times and so I am keen to do some %26#39;untouristy%26#39; type things.

Regarding other things to do over the weekend, from checking the net I think it is Korean New Year( or there is a new moon or something....I am so uneducated!) will any celebrations be going on?

Or I quite fancy watching some sport? I appreciate the big ticket events will be sold out but is anything else going on.

I went to reserve 2 tickets on the comedy celars web site, got my reservation email no problem but never gave them a credit card! Not sure if it means I have reserved or not!
