which would be the nicest time to visit new york 1st week in April or in June? Any advice on these hotels- The Belvedere_ the Helmsley on 42nd street? Which is nicer? Any other suggestions on where i could stay. Budget around 1200 dollars for 4 nights

I like the Upper West Side for a great neighborhood. A stay in June may be warmer and dryer than April. The Lucerne Hotel or The Excelsior may be good options to check out. Have a wonderful visit.

$1200 for 4 nights is generous if that%26#39;s just for the hotel. You can probably find something nicer than the ones mentioned but they%26#39;re both fine. The weather in June is nicer (warmer and less likely to rain) but hotel prices will be higher. (there%26#39;s always a compromise)
