Tulip Fest hotel

Im a former resident who is planning on returning with a group of about ten for this years Tulip Fest. Does anyone know if the Hotels across from the Suny campus on Washington fill up at this time? Thanks

I%26#39;m also not sure when you were last in Albany, but there are quite a few hotels on Washington Avenue across from SUNY now. They are almost all suite hotels and geared towards long-term stays. They are actually perfect for a large group like yours and close to the Tulip festival and afordable.

I agree with TPXB. The hotels would fill up because of other things going on in the region, not Tulip Fest. There are usually a few college graduations that same weekend, which might tighten up the supply of available rooms a bit. Of the properties along Washington Ave., the CrestHill Suites, Extended Stay America (don%26#39;t stay there) and Marriott Towne Place Suites are all-suite; the rest - Marriott Courtyard, Fairfield Inn and Red Carpet Inn (DON%26#39;T stay there) - have standard rooms. If you%26#39;re not limited to staying on Washington Ave. and want a suite hotel for your group of 10, there%26#39;s a new Hilton Homewood Suites on Wolf Road near the airport and Marriott Residence Inns in Latham and North Greenbush.
