It%26#39;s not even Christmas and tried to get reservations for 2 ANYWHERE near Cooperstown for the HOF Weekend (July 27-9) and I%26#39;m shut out. Does anyone have any advise where to stay?
HOF Weekend Lodginglodging is virtually impossible to attain during this most precious HOF weekend in Cooperstown. However a resident who lives on main street across from the HOF was offering his apt. last year, His email is antokj16@oneonta.edu. See if it%26#39;s available for next summer. Good luck.
HOF Weekend LodgingHI,
I have a 2 bedroom apartment (downstairs two family house)in the Village I am willing to rent .
It has a LR, Kitchen, One Bath, 2 Bedrooms, (one is very small)
deck, yard, and parking on the property. Walking distance to Hall of Fame and Doubleday Field. Minimum 4 night stay, $450 per night.
Three person Max. 3k for full week.References, and payment in advance. This is our summer place, and we usually avoid the chaos.

I%26#39;m also in the Dallas area and also trying to get lodging for HOF weekend.
So far no luck.
I%26#39;m thinking I%26#39;m going to have to get a hotel closer to Syracuse or Albany and just make the drive.
I started checking the day the HOF nominations were announced and everyone was already booked... so I%26#39;m guessing these visitors are regulars who go every year.
Hey Txpadrefan,
You can also look south of Cooperstown as well. We booked a room down in Johnson City (near Binghamton) which is supposed to be about a 1 1/2 drive up to Cooperstown. I%26#39;m anticipating that the drive may be much worse on Sunday, Jul 29 if a lot of day trippers come up that way from Maryland but we%26#39;ll try to get an early start.
If anyone has a breakfast recommendation for the Binghamton/Johnson City area, or on the drive to Cooperstown up from there, many thanks.
