can%26#39;t believe that it is next month i%26#39;ll be coming to NY to get married in Central Park.! But I need some help with a hairdresser. Any recommendations for someone who can come to the hotel we are staying at - Comfort Inn Manhattan.

guessing noone does then. think i will have to have lots and lots of practise runs here and then try and buy the same hair products when I arrive.

Try doing a search on here. It%26#39;s a while back but I remember some posts about getting married in New York on here. Other places to try include wedding websites, I know the main Irish one is ww.weddingsonline.ie - I think there were a couple of wedding reports in NY posted.

Having a hairdresser come to your hotel can be very expensive.

Do you have time the day of the wedding to go to a salon?

Zac at Pierre Michel on East 57th is who did my hair the day I got married in NYC. He is very talented and will give you the best style for your special day. Take your veil with you and he will place it for you so that all you have to do is get dressed. When he worked at this other salon, there was a lady who also did my make up that day. It was expensive but soooo worth it. He is the greatest and you won%26#39;t be disappointed. Make an appointment now though. He stays booked. Tell him the girl with the big hair from Memphis sent you.

I didn%26#39;t see Zac listed as a hairstylist but he is there. They also have something on the website about wedding services. Good luck. You will love getting married in NYC. It is so exciting.

I am in the industry here in the city. I don%26#39;t mention where I work or promote myself because it is inappropriate here.

I happen to know Zac, He is not only very talented but very funny. You%26#39;d be getting hair and entertainment as well.

If he is not in your price range ask him if he can recommend a senior assistant that may be able to do it. There are also some people who do both hair and makeup.

I had previously recommended a salon called Cutler which had a wedding special of $200 for hair and makeup. At least one person here reported being very happy and using Roz there. Here%26#39;s her post

Can highly reccomend Roz from Cutler%26#39;s just beside central park. This was for my wedding and she listened to exactly what i was after and did a perfect, actually amazing job. I paid $200 but that was for hair and make up. Cutler%26#39;s is amazing!

Unfortunately, that was a while ago and we%26#39;ve heard their prices have gone up dramatically.
