Hi

I have booked a surprise trip to New York for my husband in 3 weeks time so am busy ready lots of reports as I am not used to working out what to do whilst we are away without discussing it all with him.

Some of the reports have mentioned printing off 2 for 1 vouchures etc. Can anyone let me know where I can get this sort of thing from? No point in spending more money than I need to (-:

I think the 2 for 1 vouchers you saw were probably for Top of the Rock (TOTR in shorthand) and were only available when it first opened. There are people handing out 10-20% off coupons near it now (Rockefeller Center).

There are 2 big discount promotions going on now thru Feb/March. They are

They include some sightseeing venues (like the wax museum) as well as restaurants, theaters etc.

In addition to those, there are 2 restaurant week promotions for the weeks of Jan 22 and Jan 29. The promotions are M-F (not weekends) and I%26#39;ve heard it%26#39;s become very hard to get reservations for the most sought after places.

Other than those timed specials, broadwaybox.com is a popular way to buy discounted theater tix in advance to SOME shows.

nycvisit.com is a good place to look for other promotions and discounts.
