Tag watch

Can anyone suggest any shops in new york which sell tag watches. I am wanting to buy one as a gift for my husband-to-be as his wedding present but they are sooooo expensive here, I was hoping to find somewhere in ny where I can pick one up a bit cheaper???

The Tag website has a list of all the authorised retailers in the city.

IMHO, the best place to buy watches is at TOURNEAU and particuarly the store at 57th St and Madison Avenue. I%26#39;ve bought my last two watches at Tourneau (a Tag about 15 yrs ago) and I bought a Breitling Colt Ocean about 4 yrs ago. Tourneau even gave me a trade-in on the Tag - a REALLY GOOD TRADE In. THey have lifetime free battery replacement and they check the pressure - so every two years like clockwork, I am in the store.

Tourneau has same prices as other places. Whatever you do BUY IN A REPUTABLE PLACE. If you buy at a place like Woodbury COmmon, most of the merchandise sold there is not covered by the same warranties (I was specifically told that at the store that sold Tags and at Coach).

Another good discount retailer for TAG watches is Century 21, across from the World Trade Center.

I knwo that Macys and Bloomingdales also sell them but does anyone know if we can get the 11% tourist discount off them?

I%26#39;m not sure about that. The discount is usually not good for ';franchise'; depts. (Iike cosmetics) and I think jewelry/watches may also be franchised. You%26#39;d have to ask.
