Is the super shuttle service that bad? I read some negative reviews. There is only two of us and we are trying to save some money. the shuttle is 17 each way. What is the best way? We are arriving at 2:00 p.m on a Saturday.

Where abouts are you going to?
super shuttle service
We are arriving at Laguardia going to 45th and broadway and leaving from JFK airport.
The shutle services are particularly ';bad';. They can just be incredibly long. Depending on where your hotel is you could be the first one off or the last one off.
Because time is important to me when I visit NYC, I try to get to my hotel as soon as possible after landing. Since I usually land in Newark this usually means I cough up some extra bucks for a car service.
If flights from my city change and I can take a subway from the airport to the hotel I would do it in a heartbeat.
Good luck and have a wonderful visit.
we used the supershuttle service on our first visit to NYC a couple of years ao. It was fine and it was cheap. Took us about 1 hour from Newark to The Roosevelt in Midtown.
No frills but if you%26#39;re looking to save money I%26#39;d use them again.
From LGA with 2 people, I%26#39;d take a yellow taxi because (a) it won%26#39;t likely run you more than the same $34 you%26#39;ll pay with Supershuttle and (b) it will likely be a less aggravating ride and the taxi will be just for you two.
Back to JFK, I%26#39;d take the AirTrain, if you%26#39;re still budget conscious. By the end of your trip, you%26#39;ll likely have a MetroCard, probably with some rides still left on it that you%26#39;ll want to use up.
Take the E train from 42nd and 8th Ave into Queens to Sutphin Boulevard. There are escalators an delevators etc to go up to the AirTrain. The AirTrain costs $5.00 each. Very easy.
