Starbucks query - Caramel Apple Cider

I%26#39;ve been reading about this drink in a trip report and drooling ever since! Is this drink on the permanent menu, our was it just a seasonal holiday addition? I don%26#39;t tend to visit many Starbucks in the UK, but there seem several menu differences and I think I%26#39;m going to have to check it out. It will at the very least be a good reason to get out of the cold. LOL!

Donnababe, you have me salivating!! I first visited NYC in November 2001 and had one of these - I can still taste it! They definitely don%26#39;t have anything like it in UK Starbucks, I%26#39;ve tried :-( However, they will possibly still have it on the menu in Feb - I was last there in March 2004 and I got one (and will be back again in around 9 weeks hoping for the same...)

Hahaha - I%26#39;ve just gone onto starbucks.com and there%26#39;s a PICTURE of it!! Click on the %26#39;nutritional info%26#39; and it tells you that the caramel apple cider contains a whopping 320 calories and 8g of fat FOR THE SMALLEST SIZE!!! Worth every last bit...

Exactly!! Which is why I%26#39;m going to Weight Watchers just now so I can indulge without feeling too bad when we get there ;-)

aaarrgghh - I%26#39;d just got over the addiction and someone had to mention it - LOL

If your still worried about calories have it without the cream - I thought it nutralised the apple kick anyway and was better without it.

Oh I just had this today. I%26#39;ve been addicted for about two months. I haven%26#39;t read the trip report mentioned. It%26#39;s like a caramel covered candy apple in liquid form. I had it a Ft. Lauderdale, Fl Starbucks. I thought it was a seasonal thing but on the Starbucks menu it was under ';Classics'; NOT ';Holiday Favorites'; Hmmm...
