Lower East Side - Definition

Hve heard good things about LES in terns of nights out, but i dont really want to wander aimlessly. Where are the concentration of bars/pubs in htis area...i have heard possibly Ludlow St (?).

Ludlow, Rivington and Stanton Streets have the most bars/nightlife.

If you do go to the LES, you MUST go for the FOOD! Check out these classic NYC establishments before you go bar hopping. All the startch and fat is good for soaking it all up, anyway!

I had forgotten that we will need to eat aswell as get drunk, thanks for the reminder!!!

If you think of any more good areas, just let me know. I%26#39;m thinking we might need something over on the west side, possibly around the meatpacking district aswell...any thoughts?
