Hi y%26#39;all...first of all, I apologize, as I really have been reading reviews and advice, but I%26#39;m more confused than ever now, lol. My two sisters and myself are taking our 85 yr. old Mother to NYC in April. I%26#39;m supposed to be making all of the arrangements and as far as places to stay, the Wolcott seems to be the nicest for the price, do y%26#39;all agree? Basically, we want to be in a decent area (no offense intended towards any NYC residents) without having to pay $100 apiece for a room, if possible. I%26#39;ve checked %26#39;Hotels.com%26#39; but found nothing. It seems that we%26#39;ve all settled on the Wolcott, except I%26#39;m a tad skeptical about any place that I see only online. I would truly appreiate any feedback from anyone who%26#39;s familiar with that hotel or has stayed there; again, I apologize if I%26#39;m asking repititive questions. We three sisters have never once been anywhere with our Mom before, so we want this to be as special as possible without breaking the bank. Thanks so much to anyone willing to give of their time and feedback so that we Southern women (ie., fish out of water) can go and have a good time. Much appreciation!
advice needed for trip to NYC in April, please!
p.s. Would anyone so kind as to respond recommend me calling the hotel if we do decide on that one, would you recommend calling them for reservations instead of doing so online, could we get cheaper rates by doing such and such, etc. Again, thank you so much!
